Breaking News : 2 Babies Stolen in Benue found in Enugu

The Nigeria Police have found in Enugu, two infants that were stolen by a 25-year-old lady in Gboko, Benue State.

The woman, who lives in Adekaa territory in Gboko, was captured by the police while attempting to offer her kin’s two-year-old child in Enugu after she had sold her one month old infant.

According to reports, Mngu had guaranteed her child had passed on. In any case, the air pocket burst on her when she returned home, stole and took her sister’s child to Enugu with the goal of offering him for sale.

A close source who affirmed the incident said “Mngu took her baby before it was named and was away for sometime and only came back later to inform the family that the child had died.

“If she had not been caught in an attempt to sell her sister’s son, we wouldn’t have known that she sold her baby.”

The Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) in Benue State, Austin Ezeani, is yet to affirm the report.
